How to Care for Your Boxing Gloves

You may find many different opinions on the best way to clean your favourite Boxing Gloves, but from our experience, keeping things simple is always best:

• Do Not Machine Wash

Never place Boxing Gloves in a washing machine or fully soak them in water. Excess moisture and agitation can damage the padding, stitching, wrist support, and outer material.

• Wipe Clean After Every Use

Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove sweat and dirt from the inside and outside. For deeper cleaning, use a small amount of mild soap without saturating the gloves.

• Always Air Dry

Open the wrist straps and allow your gloves to dry naturally in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not use a tumble dryer, radiator, hair dryer, or direct sunlight, as excessive heat may damage the padding and material.

• Use Antibacterial Spray — Optional

A sports-equipment-safe antibacterial spray may be used occasionally to help control bacteria and unpleasant odours. Apply lightly and avoid making the gloves excessively wet.

• Avoid Bleach and Harsh Chemicals

Do not use bleach, alcohol-based cleaners, strong detergents, or fabric softeners, as they may weaken the material and stitching.
