How to Care for Your Boxing Shoes

Your Boxing Shoes are designed to deliver maximum grip, agility, and support during training and competition. Proper care will help preserve their performance, comfort, and durability for years to come.

Do Not Machine Wash or Soak

Never place your Boxing Shoes in a washing machine or fully immerse them in water. Excess moisture can damage the upper material, cushioning, outsole, stitching, adhesives, and overall structure of the shoes.

Clean After Every Use

After each training session or competition, wipe your Boxing Shoes with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove dirt, sweat, and dust. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution and gently clean the surface with a soft cloth or brush. Clean the outsole regularly to maintain maximum traction.

Always Air Dry

Allow your Boxing Shoes to air dry naturally in a cool, well-ventilated area. Remove the insoles (if removable) and loosen the laces to improve airflow. Never use a tumble dryer, heater, hair dryer, or expose the shoes to direct sunlight, as excessive heat can damage the materials and weaken the adhesives.

Use Antibacterial Spray (Optional)

To help reduce bacteria and eliminate unpleasant odours, apply a footwear-safe antibacterial or deodorising spray inside the shoes when needed. Allow the shoes to dry completely before wearing them again.

Avoid Bleach and Harsh Chemicals

Do not use bleach, alcohol-based cleaners, strong detergents, solvents, or abrasive cleaning products. These substances can weaken the fabric, fade colours, damage synthetic materials, and shorten the lifespan of your Boxing Shoes.

Store Properly

Store your Boxing Shoes in a clean, cool, and dry place after they are completely dry. Avoid storing them in damp areas or inside tightly sealed gym bags for extended periods, as this can cause unpleasant odours, mildew, and material deterioration.
