How to Care for Your Kungfu Shoes

You may find many different opinions on the best way to clean your favourite Kungfu Shoes, but from our experience, keeping things simple is always best:

Do Not Machine Wash or Soak

Never place your Kungfu Shoes in a washing machine or fully soak them in water. Excess moisture may damage the fabric, sole, stitching, inner lining, and overall shape of the shoes.

Wipe Clean After Every Use

Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove sweat, dirt, and surface marks after each use. For deeper cleaning, use a small amount of mild soap mixed with water and gently wipe the shoes.

Always Air Dry

Allow your Kungfu Shoes to dry naturally in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not use a tumble dryer, heater, hair dryer, or place them in direct sunlight, as excessive heat may damage the material, sole, and shape of the shoes.

Use Antibacterial Spray — Optional

A sports-shoe-safe antibacterial spray may be used occasionally to help control bacteria and unpleasant odours. Apply lightly and avoid saturating the material.

Avoid Bleach and Harsh Chemicals

Do not use bleach, alcohol-based cleaners, strong detergents, or abrasive products, as they may weaken the stitching, fade the material, and damage the surface of your Kungfu Shoes.
