CARE INSTRUCTIONS
How to Care for Your SandLock Heavy Duty Bags
Proper care and storage can help maintain the strength, shape, and durability of your SandLock Heavy Duty Bags for extended use.
Do Not Overfill
Do not exceed the recommended filling capacity of the bag. Overfilling may place excessive stress on the fabric, seams, stitching, and closure system.
Avoid Sharp and Rough Surfaces
Keep the bags away from sharp edges, nails, rough concrete, metal surfaces, and other objects that may puncture or damage the fabric.
Wipe Clean After Use
Remove dirt, dust, and debris using a soft brush or slightly damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap mixed with clean water and gently wipe the surface.
Always Air Dry
Allow the SandLock Heavy Duty Bags to dry naturally in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not use tumble dryers, heaters, hair dryers, or direct heat sources.
Store in a Dry Area
When not in use, store the bags in a cool, dry location away from prolonged moisture, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures.
Avoid Bleach and Harsh Chemicals
Do not use bleach, strong detergents, solvents, or abrasive cleaning products, as these may weaken the fabric, damage stitching, fade branding, and reduce the overall durability of the bags.
How to Care for Your Sand Bag
You may find many different opinions on the best way to clean your favourite Sand Bag, but from our experience, keeping things simple is always best:
Do Not Machine Wash or Soak
Never place your Sand Bag in a washing machine or fully soak it in water. Excess moisture may damage the outer material, inner filling, stitching, straps, and overall shape.
Wipe Clean After Every Use
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove sweat, dirt, and surface marks. For deeper cleaning, use a small amount of mild soap mixed with water and wipe gently.
Always Air Dry
Allow your Sand Bag to dry naturally in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not use a heater, hair dryer, or direct sunlight, as excessive heat may damage the outer covering and internal filling.
Use Antibacterial Spray — Optional
A sports-equipment-safe antibacterial spray may be used occasionally to help control bacteria and unpleasant odours. Apply lightly and avoid saturating the material.
Avoid Bleach and Harsh Chemicals
Do not use bleach, alcohol-based cleaners, strong detergents, or abrasive products, as they may weaken the stitching and damage the surface of your Sand Bag.
