How to Care for Your Training Straps

You may find many different opinions on the best way to clean your favourite Training Straps, but from our experience, keeping things simple is always best:

• Wash at 30°C or Below

Hand wash or machine wash your straps in cold or cool water on a gentle cycle. This helps maintain their strength, shape, stitching, and overall durability.

• Secure Velcro Before Washing

Fasten all Velcro closures before washing to prevent snagging or damage. Using a mesh laundry bag is also recommended.

• Do Not Machine Dry – Always Hang Dry

Avoid tumble drying, as high heat may weaken the fibres, damage elastic sections, or affect Velcro fastenings. Hang your straps in a well-ventilated area and allow them to dry completely.

• Use Mild Detergent

Use a small amount of gentle detergent to remove sweat, dirt, and odours. Antibacterial detergent may be used occasionally after intense training.

• Avoid Bleach and Fabric Softener

Do not use bleach, harsh chemicals, or fabric softener, as they may weaken the material and reduce grip performance.
