How to Care for Your Karate Uniform

Your Karate Uniform is designed for intensive training, tournaments, and everyday dojo practice. Proper care helps maintain its comfort, durability, fit, and professional appearance. Follow these simple care instructions to keep your uniform in excellent condition.

Machine Wash with Care

Wash your Karate Uniform in cold or lukewarm water (up to 30°C) using a mild detergent. Turn the uniform inside out before washing to help protect the fabric, embroidery, and printed designs. Wash with similar colours and avoid overloading the washing machine.

Wash After Every Training Session

Wash your uniform after each training session or competition to remove sweat, dirt, and bacteria. Regular cleaning helps maintain freshness, prevents odours, and extends the life of the fabric.

Avoid Bleach and Harsh Chemicals

Do not use bleach, strong detergents, fabric softeners, or harsh cleaning chemicals. These products can weaken the fabric fibres, fade colours, and reduce the durability of your Karate Uniform.

Air Dry for Best Results

Hang your Karate Uniform to air dry in a cool, well-ventilated area. Avoid tumble drying and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or excessive heat, as this may cause shrinkage and reduce the lifespan of the fabric.

Iron with Care

If necessary, iron your uniform using a low to medium heat setting to remove wrinkles and maintain a clean, professional appearance. Avoid ironing directly over embroidered logos, patches, or printed graphics.

Store Properly
