How to Care for Your Focus Mitts

You may find many different opinions on the best way to clean your favourite Focus Mitts, but from our experience, keeping things simple is always best:

Do Not Machine Wash or Soak

Never place your Focus Mitts in a washing machine or fully soak them in water. Excess moisture may damage the outer material, inner foam, stitching, wrist support, and overall shape.

Wipe Clean After Every Use

Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove sweat, dirt, and surface marks. For deeper cleaning, use a small amount of mild soap mixed with water and wipe gently.

Always Air Dry

Allow your Focus Mitts to dry naturally in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not use a tumble dryer, heater, hair dryer, or place them in direct sunlight, as excessive heat may damage the foam padding and outer covering.

Use Antibacterial Spray — Optional

A sports-equipment-safe antibacterial spray may be used occasionally to help control bacteria and unpleasant odours. Apply lightly and avoid saturating the material.

Avoid Bleach and Harsh Chemicals

Do not use bleach, alcohol-based cleaners, strong detergents, or abrasive products, as they may weaken the stitching and damage the surface of your Focus Mitts.
