How to Care for Your MMA Gloves

You may find many different opinions on the best way to clean your favourite MMA Gloves, but from our experience, keeping things simple is always best:

• Do Not Machine Wash

MMA Gloves should not be washed in a washing machine, as soaking and heavy agitation may damage the padding, stitching, leather, and wrist fastening.

• Wipe Clean After Every Use

Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean sweat and dirt from the inside and outside of your gloves. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution and avoid soaking the material.

• Always Air Dry

Open the wrist straps and allow your gloves to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area. Do not use a tumble dryer, radiator, hair dryer, or direct sunlight, as excessive heat may damage the padding and outer material.

• Use Antibacterial Spray—Optional

A sports-equipment-safe antibacterial spray may be used occasionally to control bacteria and unpleasant odours. Do not apply excessive liquid inside the gloves.

• Avoid Bleach and Harsh Chemicals

Do not use bleach, strong detergents, alcohol-based cleaners, or fabric softener, as these may damage the material and weaken the stitching.
